In the heart of the Aeolian Islands! 🌈 We meet for their wedding photo shoot on the beautiful island 😍. A place of pristine beauty that induces suggestions that are difficult to describe in an article. I'll try in any case by sharing some frames of the wedding.

As I told you, I don't limit myself to weddings near Catania, but upon request I travel throughout the country. Last year, for example, my team and I arrived in Switzerland, Germany and recently in Filicudi. I confess that the beauty of the island pays homage to our beautiful region. But let's go back to talking about Teresa and Luca's wedding photo shoot.
We are at the "Grand Hotel Sirena", a place that deliberately preserves the style of years lost in memory. The location has a strong evocative impact, it smacks of other times and at the same time exerts the charm that historic homes are able to convey.
Historic home for weddings, but what is a historic home?
You will probably tell me that we are not talking about a historic home for weddings, but what is a historic home if not a place witnessing thousands of stories of men and women, from fishermen, locals to those who have chosen this island to live there or just for the holidays?
Why believe that historic houses are only medieval castles or places that have seen illustrious and noble characters within their walls? History is very often made by humble people, apparently invisible but who in an instant rise to the helm of history. Revolutions for example, who makes them? Have you ever heard of a noble family protesting in the square to overthrow the tyrant?
Early in the morning we go to Teresa's to assist and immortalize with our photography the moments that will precede the wedding. The makeup, the dress or the wedding rings. We do the same type of photo shoot for the groom and then, after the ritual "signatures", in a hurry for the wedding celebrations.

Photographer Catania and his brides but today also the wonderful couple that oozes joy from every pore, in Filicudi. I take advantage of a few shots to the delight of all those present, guests and the locals, the latter, intrigued by the singular choice of Luca and Teresa and of course the inevitable sunset with the other islands of the archipelago as a backdrop for the two lovers.
Tomorrow morning we return to Catania with its contradictions and its disruptive beauty. Today I wrote about my idea of a historic home. Catania is an open-air historic residence! The legends and stories that every corner of the city tells us are reason enough to rightly elect it as the heritage of the married couples who will choose it for their special day!
